This analytical service is for both diamond cores and RC drill cuttings. It is customized to the user and can be done as a very basic service with only PIMA™ spectra collected and provided as raw data files for import into presentation software or as a more detailed alteration mineral assemblage analysis with log plots down each drill hole and cross sections through a deposit.

PIMA DRILL CORE PLOT EXAMPLE

The following example is extracted from an epithermal gold system Drill Hole Log using PIMA™ mineral species data and gold assay values. It displays alteration minerals against gold mineralization and alteration zoning. Dickite + alunite are gold associate minerals. Note that jarosite defines an oxidation level. This plot illustrates one way PIMA™ drill hole data can be presented for comparison and evaluation.
