Surveys are also offered for:

environmental,

which are performed by G.A. Borstad Associates. Please visit their site for more information, or contact them in Sydney, BC. gary@borstad.com

These surveys use two sensors the SFSI (SWIR Full Spectrum Imager) and the CASI (CASI (Compact Airborne Spectrographic Imager),). The sensors are very portable and can be taken to most places in the world and installed in local aircraft.

The SWIR Full Spectrum Imager is a 124 channel, hyperspectral airborne instrument developed by the Canadian Center for Remote Sensing. It is flown by Borstad and Associates. SFSI has ~10 nanometer spectral resolution and a 4 meter ground pixel size and operates in the 1200 to 2500 nm spectral range.

Spectral International acts as agent for SFSI to the mining industry including abandoned mine lands and mine waste evaluation. Please contact us for additional information about the implementation of this innovative tool into your exploration and air survey programs.
